Women on the Run
Women on the Run is a five-part nonpartisan leadership and campaign training program for women across Virginia interested in public leadership at every level of government.
Through practical skill-building, mentorship, and a supportive statewide network, participants gain the tools, confidence, and connections needed to run for office—or to support women who do. Together, we’re building a stronger, more representative Virginia.
Workshops are led by current and former elected officials, along with experienced organizers, fundraisers, strategists, and policy experts. Each session can be attended as a standalone learning and networking opportunity. However participants who complete the full series will receive a graduation certificate.
Beyond virtual workshops, Women on the Run emphasizes community. Participants will be invited to in-person regional gatherings across the Commonwealth for mentoring, peer support, and relationship-building with women leaders.
