Girls’ Leadership Circle Internship
The Virginia Women’s Foundation is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated intern to support our Girls’ Leadership Circle this fall. This program empowers middle school girls to build self-esteem, strengthen leadership abilities, and develop advocacy skills.
Responsibilities
Assist with weekly program sessions for middle school participants (Tuesdays, 3:30–6:00 PM)
Support activities that foster confidence, teamwork, and leadership development
Help with both virtual and in-person programming in Northern Virginia
Provide logistical and administrative support as needed
Complete 3–5 hours of weekly research, program preparation, and follow-up (flexible, remote work)
Internship Details
Schedule: Tuesdays, 3:30–6:00 PM, October–December 2025
Format: Primarily virtual, with some in-person sessions in Northern Virginia
Commitment: Weekly program session plus 3–5 hours of flexible remote work
Compensation: Unpaid; may be completed for college credit
Qualifications
Passion for girls’ empowerment, leadership, and advocacy
Strong communication and organizational skills
Reliability and ability to commit to the full program schedule
Experience working with youth is a plus, but not required
